The mind is a very important component in your overall wellness.  There are some simple and quick practices you could incorporate into your day to create wellness routines.  Some suggestions are to practice deep breathing, take short breaks to stretch, create calming morning and evening routines as well as listen to soothing music or sounds.

You could use deep breathing to create a calm morning and evening routine.  We hope you Join Us in Living the Natural Care Way and add this simple breathing exercise to help calm your mind.  

Performing Deep Breathing

  1. Begin to breathe in slowly and evenly, drawing your breath deep into your abdomen.    
  2. Place your hands over your abdomen so that you can feel it rise with your in-breath.
  3. Keep breathing in until your breath reaches your upper chest.  Do not hold your breath.
  4. Release your breath by letting it go naturally, letting gravity take it out with no effort on your part.
  5. Repeat this pattern at least ten times on each occasion, and perform the routine as often as you find it helpful.  Upon completing the cycle, you should feel more relaxed, renewed and rejuvenated.
